Congratulations on choosing Level 3 Food Science and Nutrition to further you interest and career in food. This course can be taken as a Certificate over one year, or a Diploma, over two years. The diploma is equivalent to a full A Level, and carries the same UCAS points.
The course is marked differently to A Levels - you will receive Distinction*, Distinction, Merit or Pass. The course is divided as follows:
Year 12 - Unit 1 (controlled assessment and externally marked exam).
Year 13 - Unit 2 (externally marked assessment) and Unit 3/4 (controlled assessment)
