Today in cooking our class made scones. You could choose what to put in them, I made cheese scones.
Firstly we sieved the flour and added the butter. We then used the rubbing technique. As I made cheese scones I did not need to put sugar into the mixture. I added the grated cheese and slowly poured in the milk. Next I stored the mixture until it was like a dough. After that I rolled it out and cut it into circular discs. I cooked them until they were brown and that took around 10 minutes.
I enjoyed making these and I think they turned out good. I plan to make them again.
