This week out class made white sauce with pasta. This is the recipie we used -
Firstly I boiled the pasta in a saucepan. While it was boiling I put flour, milk and butter into a pan, (this made the white sauce). It thickened up quite quickly and then I waited for the sauce to boil. After this this the pasta was ready. To tell when pasta is ready it should be soft. I drained the pasta and added it to my white sauce. Next I covered the mixture with grated cheese. I put the combined sauce and pasta under the grill and waited until the cheese went crispy and brown. This took around 5-7 minutes. I took it out of the grill when it was done and waited for it to cool down.
This did not take long to make and I plan to make this again.
