Hiya! For dinner we made spaghetti omelette. I know what you’re thinking but honestly it does taste delicious! We found a recipe online:
https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/586650/spaghetti-omelette-
I wasn’t very keen to eat this but it was indeed lip-smacking!
As you can see it is not ideal to have this on a regular basis (it was a treat!!!) but it certainly pleases your appetite! We reduced the amount of soft cheese as this is not healthy!!
Here are the ingredients:
Ingredients for spaghetti omelette
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 courgettes, grated
- 2 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 300g pot fresh cheese sauce or soft cheese
- 200g cooked spaghetti or other pasta
- 2 eggs
We did soft cheese instead of pot fresh cheese sauce. We used spaghetti instead of other pasta. We didn’t put courgettes simply because we didn’t have any in the fridge.
The texture of it was rich but not too rich. Next time, I could try to put some vegetables in it.
It took less than 30 mins to make and this is such a simple meal to make and you can play around with the ingredients! So... yes it is unusual but it was mouth-watering!

This is a really unusual and unique dish Amanda. What could you serve with this? Miss Harvey

You could serve this with a refreshing salad or green leaves (watercress, rocket or spinach) to try and balance the nutrients.
