Today we made scones (pronounced scon!!). It was fun.
This is the finished result.
First, you have to rub the butter into the flour and salt. The flour and salt were sivved so there wasn’t lumps.
Next, you have to mix in the sugar.
After this, you have to mix in the milk. Don’t put too much in (like me!) because it gets wayyy to sticky. If this happens, you can always add more flour.

To make sure that the scones were fully cooked, I turned them over. If the bottom was brown, then it was cooked.
