On Tuesday at cooking club a made Welsh cakes. It was a fun experience and definitely not like cakes I have made in the past.
If you want the recipe you could simply Google it or ask Miss Harvey for a copy of the recipe. I had to make a normal cake batter but and baking soda. I made the mixture become a dough and fried them. This was very different to how I usely make cake, but I liked it. I added currants to give it an even nicer taste.
I think I did quite well, when frying the cakes, but could have done well in making the thickness of the welsh cakes the same.
Overall I really enjoyed making these and I might do these soon but with coconut!
