Today we made vegetable soup. It was fun but still quite challenging.
First we cut all the vegetables. The ones I used were potatoes, leek, celery and carrot. We had to cut them the same size so they cooked at the same time. I tried to cut mine at 1cm cubed

Next, I melted butter into the sauce pan. When that was done, I put the vegetables and the stock into the pan and covered it with water. This is what it looks like.
I decided I didn’t like the bumpy texture so I hand whisked it.
I added salt and pepper. This is my finishing result.
I could tell that my soup was done because the vegetables were soft.
